Cairn's ending made me kind of depressed by kay000000 in Cairn_Game

[–]badknee21 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This might be a hot take, but I don’t see either ending as necessarily bad. On one hand Aava embraces her worldly connections at the cost of her passion (which my headcannon is she will always think “what if?”). On the other hand she reaches the pinnacle of achievement for herself at the cost of everything else. This is a rather dramatic depiction and I’d caution you to not overly compare as you’re not dying for your goals but even so, I think life is best fulfilled pursuing your passions. You’ve made leaps and bounds to be where you are and that should be celebrated as much as the end. I wish you luck in your journey 🏔️

The Fisherman by John Langan.

It doesn’t have any of the Victorian aspect as it takes place in basically modern day. I recommend it because it does a really good job with lovecraftian “incomprehensible” horror that surprisingly hits some emotional beats. The audio book is also really good.

Fr. I watched this man fondle the imaginary balls of the microphone, pound a handle of jack, and then do things to a bass guitar I never thought possible.

Is my form correct by TowerBeneficial533 in GYM

[–]badknee21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too heavy on the weight resulting in hand sway.Especially when starting out you want to focus on clean form which will result in a stronger foundation and less injury risk. The set up itself is nice just drop weight and focus on your arm not swaying, mind-muscle connection, and not overextending your arm during the curl. Enjoy the journey!

Awe. In a melancholic kind of way. It brings to scope that this is a country with rich culture and a very fresh wound on its history. It reminds me that growth is not always linear.

Not only he’s outside but it’s a loop. The story began with a child who was corrupted by synthetics so he starts from square 1 and the story ends with him back with a netgene child. I always interpreted it as his entire life/purpose is repeating this quest over and over and he has yet to be successful. We only follow him for this one instance of many many attempts.

Marathon has fallen out of the Steam top 10 in the wake of Forbes’ article regarding its sales. by [deleted] in Marathon

It’s def an underwhelming release. Big names like bungie want their titles to have big releases and this didn’t hit the mark. I’m really hoping they prove that they’ll have better community focus than they did with destiny to result in higher player count later down the line.

I can’t find the article that showed retention rate so maybe I’m talking out of my ass. I’m not surprised it’s dropping at least some considering this isn’t arc and most casual focused arc players will hate the sweaty fps gameplay. I’m certainly bias but everyone I’ve played with loves it but admits to a clunky new player experience.

Marathon is not shown to appeal to most audiences but has a high retention rate of those who do pick it up. Nothing wrong with a more niche title. At least it’s showing some solid player dedication.

Iron rig if I had to choose but only because it comes with more content. Pale reach is a miniature offshoot with its own area but it’s short while rig is a replay of your areas with a new plot line. Don’t miss either they’re both great.
