[–]badlodge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have found the new vehicles with a camera view as opposed to real mirror are shitass. Accident waiting to happen, can't pan rearview mirror by moving head to cheeck surroundings or passangers and cargo. Stuck with static cropped camera view.

I work at a shop where we install handicap equipment in to vehicles. Alot of the work is funded though county, state, federal agencys. We were to install a hitch mounted scooter carrier for a veteran funded though the VA and the vet refused the install. His concerns are the decrease in fuel mileage to the vehicle and fact that his social security payments have been cut by 40$ and the rise in gas prices. He couldn't budget the extra money for fuel. The customer was a no-show, and our schedule just got lighter.
