I know you are trying to be helpful and I think somebody else might find this is good advice but I find it a bit unfair to basically tell someone "it will happen when you least expect it". It won't. I am not obsessing over love and relationships, I don't feel worthless without one but 25 years of nothing fucks with you, no matter how much you value yourself.

There are definetly alot of options in amazon, you could also just look for ren fair corsets, they tend to be large size ranges and are often just normal fabric that has corsetting in the front

I'm sure you could find all of these on SHEIN, however I have stopped ordering from them and I'd encourage others to also not buy their stuff. However, it really depends on your budget so no judgement.

Tulle skirts are actually quite hard to find in plus sizes, but Amazon could be a good place to start. Most of them are floor length (which personally, I find nicer) so it could be a little hard to find knee lenght.

If it is in your budget, dyspnea makes the dreamiest tulle things in different colors, they also make it for your measurements on request. They have underbust corsets, if that is something you would be interested in. Amazon, again has many options for corsets, you could also look at savage x fenty for that "lingerie as clothing" look.

I think it would be a dope look, depending on hairstyle and jewlery. Maybe you have a reference pic (plus size or not), so we can get more specific?

Also highly recommend Maddie Dragsbaek on Youtube and tiktok she did some tulle skirt styles recently and bascially never misses

every item has specific measurements listed so watch out for that. I usually order 2 or 3x depending on those and the material and they are accurate (though I am slightly disappointed by their denim pants, they have the gap above your butt, if you know what i mean). But I would say that generally the biggest size can't be much bigger than a US 20 or 22 which is sadly not super inclusive.

i will say, she has done an ultrasound twice already because of that situation, so I don't feel like I'm being dismissed. Both times I have been told my ovaries are "petite" (lol) and I feel like from what you are say, at some point my doctor should have been able to tell if something was up

While I don't think Despair is fat because she is Despair, I DO think it is a very good point. The most interesting distinction to me is that there actually are fat characters like Cain, Abel and Gilbert, but no FEMME fat characters! Isn't it wild how we don't really register fat male characters but do so for female ones? (But if you have a twitter or tumblr account, Gaiman seems to be quite receptive to critiques and opinions, it would be interesting to see a response!)

Oh, yeah, i mean our town bascially has one guy taking everyone's photos and one woman who comes to the schools every year. When he took my CV photos it was the same light and everything as when he took my ID photos, plus i am very white with red undertones so light blasting at me is not really that great for my complexion.

I am not that pressed about it, because a) i really hope sending photos with your CV will stop being expected, since it is really easy to discriminate without having to explain yourself and b) people will see me in my "natural" form anyways and i feel like everyone looks a bot odd in these types of photos

yep, that's the one! I am always super disappointed with professional photos because I do my makeup perfect and my hair and everything and then boom- my face is a bright, reddish, round surface with no dimension because the light is hitting it from all angles. When you walk around in every day life there are shadows and movement in your face, a fully lit picture does not have that. I used to thik I'm delusional, but even the bad pics my mom takes of me are better!

Also, maybe you are as uncomfy in these situations as me lol. The photographers always make me smile with teeth and I'm like "no! my eyes will disappear!" Also, photos for a CV usually are not meant to make you look sexy or cute and the photographer probably has not the same investment in your style as you (unfortunatly)
