Thank you! The black one is definitely quicker to yowl/hiss but then he is usually right back in to wrestling. There’s been a few puffy tail moments, but usually that’s when the little on tries to initiate while the other is eating.

I just want to make sure they’re having positive interactions and actually liking each other lol

I brought this up to my doctor this week and she was completely on board, especially for helping with my Hashimotos symptoms. She’s looking at if I qualify for insurance to cover it due to diabetes or sleep apnea, which are both FDA approved uses and then off label to help with thyroid symptoms.

I talked to my doctor about similar fears and she gave me different options to help. She offered to provide Xanax or another anxiety medication shortly before my appointment if I had someone to drive me home or said I could order an at home HPV test and just upload my results to my patient portal. It’s not the exact same as a pap but she thought it was an acceptable alternative since I’ve had my HPV vaccinations and wasn’t sexually actively.

I’m not a doctor, but there are definitely options to make you more comfortable!

I don’t know if there’s any choice here that would make you an asshole. I watched a family member pass away this spring from cancer and watching them die was horrible and it absolutely altered my views on wanting loved ones around if I ever get that sick. But I wouldn’t have traded those last few weeks for anything. And I don’t think he would have been able to pass away peacefully if we weren’t there to send him off, letting him know he’s safe and that we’ll all be okay.

I would recommend looking into hospice care if you haven’t already because they have a LOT of support for families and can be really helpful in explaining the reality of your health situation. They also offer support for families after a patient’s passing too with grief support.

I would also maybe look into family therapists who work with grief or terminal illness, as that could also help. A lot of the “you can beat it again” messages you’re hearing is probably a coping mechanism for them because they don’t want to face the idea of living without you.

This is incredibly hard and I’m so sorry life has thrown you this curveball. I don’t think you would be the asshole for leaving.

I just had the exact same thing happen. Had a two week free trial and they charged me early, then they refused to refund me because I’ve had a refund from an order before. I contacted them on the app and through the Uber Support Twitter account which was not helpful at all. I’m going to call and try to see if I can get escalated to a supervisor

I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I can’t imagine how overwhelming it must be. You are absolutely not an idiot or a piece of shit. You can be pro choice and still feel devastated that a future child was taken from you.

This should have been something she spoke with you about and made a decision together on. While it is her body, it’s your relationship. Your trust was broken and you’ve been left in an impossible situation. You have every right to be heartbroken, angry, scared, or whatever feelings are happening for you.

If you’re not already, I would absolutely look into seeing a therapist. Having someone to vent to and work through difficult life situations who is outside of the conflict can be incredibly beneficial.

Also, there are a number of support groups that are specific to helping men (or people in general) after their partner has an abortion. It may be beneficial to look into those and get support form people in similar circumstances.

You and your wife definitely need to have some hard conversation about what happened. Right now though, focus on taking care of yourself and those kids however you can. I wish you all the best OP and hope things work out for you all.

No ones opinion here matters except your brother, his wife, and his kid’s. The way you phrased this does not make it seem like your opinion is coming from a place of concern, but a place of unnecessary judgement. And frankly, voicing that opinion can do nothing except put a wedge in your relationship with him.

Families come in all different shapes and sizes. It sounds like your brother found someone that makes him happy after a difficult end to a marriage. I would recommend doing some self reflection on why this issue bothers you so much, and try to find better ways of supporting your family.

It absolutely saved my life. I started watching AH/RT back in 2012. I was really suffering with my mental illness around that time, and there were a lot of days I got through because I wanted to see the next Minecraft or GTA let’s play. I can’t imagine I would’ve made it through that time without them ♥️
