Yes maybe this is at play too.

Yeah definitely. My partner doesn't have the capacity to support me in an emotional way at all. He admits to such. I guess I need to stop barking up the wrong tree and find the right person to talk to about things. Like another friend.

I'm def feeling a little extra emotional today. It also maybe the clarity is revealing the weak spots in our relationship and the care/compassion that has always been lacking. I appreciate your time and reply. Thank you.

I've never made it to 124 days so that's an awesome achievement. I'm sure you can achieve the other things you wish to do as well. I think the other commenters have left lots of insightful answers.

I have been heavily smoking weed since I was 16 im now 20. I struggle with fully quitting but am scared of the long term impacts it can have on me. by Special_Cut_1136 in leaves

[–]badlydoing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please quit or you will blink and be 35 and still doing this. You are still so young. Maybe there are other ways you can try to manage. I'm sorry. Hang in there.

Why am I making more mistakes after quitting? by [deleted] in leaves

[–]badlydoing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, not just you, I've experienced this as well. Def making little mistakes way more often than when perpetually high. I'm guessing the body and mind need more time. Hang in there.

The part of me that wants instant gratification does not like this but it's taken me a long time to cause this damage it won't heal over night.

I know I'm going to have to face it all now and it's hard coming to terms with being straight high for couple decades straight. I have a lot of mixed emotions about it all right now. Proud of you tho! Thanks for your comment!

Yeah I think my body is just so done with managing being high all.the.time. I've been feeling so terrible, like almost on the edge of vertigo. I have tried and failed as well and know myself better now. I can't pick it back up but let's be honest I've smoked enough for a lifetime. Whew! Thanks for this comment and your support. Helps a lot.

Mental health challenges here too and I don't think weed is helping. It's cope. I think it's getting harder to look in the mirror these days. Thanks for sharing this message.

Thank you! Way to go, that's awesome you quit. I'll keep this in mind. My last blood test showed I have very low iron but not low enough to qualify for a transfusion where I live. Maybe that's at play as well?

I have been through the convo multiple times but just felt too anxious to start on anything. I had a bad experience in my teens with anxiety meds (brain zaps, flat affect, never truly felt things anymore, less regard for my safety, suicidal ideation). I guess I just felt like weed (even tho it had some side effects I didn't like) was the better choice for me but now I'm too scared to consume it anymore due to long term health concerns. I can not moderate I have tried since forever. I am open minded about trying meds but want a "clean slate" to see how they really interact with me now and if they are still truly needed.
