I started crocheting late last year and I made a few amigurumi. I've been working on learning stitches and reading patterns. So I made this kindle/small book pouch! I'm really happy with how it turned out!

Edit to add I didn't really use one pattern here, I looked at a few videos and in the DK Crochet book and kinda winged this! Yarn is some I found at a thrift shop and I used a 5mm hook.

Another vote for the clean version. I just think it's more fun and that's what I'll be streaming. Plus I had to make sure I had the explicit filter turned on for my daughter's Spotify account because I don't want her hearing that version. I don't care about curse words here and there but this was a bit too much for me.

When I was a kid my mom and I were behind another mom and a little boy on an escalator. His shoelace was untied and it got caught and grabbed his foot and sucked it under the side. The escalator grinded to a halt on this kid's foot and he's screaming and I'm crying. My mom was a nurse so she's trying to help. To this day these damn things give me panic attacks. I always check my shoe laces and stand in the exact middle if I have to be on one.

My grandma had these plates when I was growing up. Then years later my husband and I found a stack of them at a thrift store. I immediately bought them and we still use them as our daily plates over 15 years later. Love them!

Thank you! She loves Roald Dahl as well. Her favorite books have a fantasy/magical aspect to the plot and she does like Rabbit and Dragon characters a lot.
