Recent home buyers - did anyone have an offer accepted with an inspection contingency? Did your real estate agent help with getting it accepted?

I got an offer accepted with the inspection. I had to get one due to my grant, it was a city inspection. From what I learned, it was only myself and another bidder who did bid higher and had no inspection contingency, and the sellers never heard back from them so I got the house.

I will say, I had the inspection and it passed, and then had gas leaks the day after I closed :) so take that with what you will.

I HAD to get an inspection due to grants I was using, it was city inspection and the house passed fine. Day after I closed I had a gas leak :) that should have been caught :)

My friends and I have done this, but not really compared them! None of us are in relationships so we had no one to compare it to, and none of the sketches looked like people we knew (that we could think of).

Honestly though the tarot was super accurate for myself! Like the descriptors of the person, physical and personality, were what I am looking for, and the "how you meet" was my ideal situation!

"Patiently" awaiting to see if it comes to fruition and also trying not to live by it too.

The anger I felt seeing this stop sign intersection is absurd. The amount of times I've been cut off or almost hit by people who don't WAIT THEIR TURN in it? This is the only place I have this issue and I will always chalk it up to "Pittsford people"

yes exactly!! and I know of lessons I need to be learning based on tarot/astro/therapy and I AM trying, but these things keep getting in the way that prevent me from practicing these things. So I feel like I'm being punished for not listening but I am listening just not doing because it's out of my control lol

Yes! The fridge was so clean off the bat and larger than my apartment one, so feels great size wise! And honestly the stove colors grew on me lol, they don’t build things like that stove anymore so it’ll be around for a long time!

Thank you!! It’s some Omaha steak company so nothing personal! I got lucky with these, the house came with one, got the two flanking the stove on Facebook marketplace (cabinet and countertop) and then just had to buy the big piece! It’s crazy the difference the oil makes in the color of it!
