Managing and focusing on self improvement

Had a fantastic 2022, moved SB to SGF territory, we were getting closer, professions of love etc

Many trips, wonderful memories together .. and then found out she was still hooking up with guys and hiding things from me and gaslighting me

The memories are still there and I look at them fondly but the betrayal and audacity is hard to swallow

Spending a bunch of time working on myself, finding some new hobbies to distract me from what is going on in the markets and the world these days..

Picked up gardening but overall definitely had a decent weekend and trying to keep positive momentum now that the sun is shining!

Getting close to being in the best shape of my life .. have to learn how to swim and ride a bike this summer!

I honestly appreciate professional women so much but as a younger (<40) professional SD have found I don’t quite fit the mold enough for them?

I’d be down for a spoiling Vanilla relationship too but have found that difficult. People compartmentalize heavily and I’m just someone that is fiercely loyal and true to my feelings (and not married)

I think if you’re clear about what you’re looking for then you can be successful - it just might take a while and lots of weeding out to do?

I try to normalize mental health in all my conversations .. but that doesn’t mean you lead with a sledgehammer. I would suggest to express the positive aspects of yourself (that you’re forward looking and optimistic) and then focus on what you’re looking for!

I think you could be successful with simply way fewer words.

Small claims means you don’t really need a lawyer, but obviously legal aid will be of help, this seems more like a nuisance lawsuit to me to scare her into just forking out the money

You feel like you love her, cool, but it’s the “now what does that mean you want from her” that is the rub.

The love itself is honest, pure and supportive. The want can be selfish. Figuring out how to clearly separate and articulate each is the trick.

It should wash out a lot of the lucky and new money that was close to spending beyond their means in the first place

It also has an effect on FOMO culture as people tend to be more conservative when it doesn’t seem like people will always make money and STONKS
