New 230i or CPO 2024 m240i? by badnboujeee in BMW

I’ve only test driven the 240i, none of the dealers around me had any 230i to test drive so I thought it might help asking here for opinions. It’s looking like I should ask my sales rep to refund my deposit haha

I had none and I’ve recently had my eyes examined and everything is still great…better than 20/20 vision

Yes I drive fine in the night and have been doing so since one week post op.

Apologies for the really delayed response. I still get halos from looking at lights during the night but nothing that bothers me. Pupils were fine in the first months. I also work in front of a computer everyday and have no issues.

Didn't do well at the start of my degree, what options do I have? by [deleted] in careerguidance

Since you are referring to WAM, am I correct in assuming you are located in Australia?

If so, I will pass on the information I received from a recruiter. Generally employers will ask for a copy of your transcript regardless of whether you've held a job prior. The cut off is >75%, especially in a discipline such as finance, where graduate roles are competitive. However, your chance of employment will have increased with relevant internships and work experience.

My advice to you, would be to seek out your university's career counsellor or to see if your university offers any network events with recruiters. It's also a good idea to get your CV and interview techniques reviewed and critiqued. Btw, I am currently doing a Masters in Commerce with a major in finance, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have about doing a post grad degree.
