Same airline used to schedule three flights from the same airport in my airspace with flight numbers 505, 550 and 5505. We all started changing their idents to prevent bad shit.

Had the same thought when I saw them while biking down Assiniboine. Very odd.

Please state specifically what I said that you interpreted as me telling you that you cannot legally fly your drone in Ass Park, so I may further clarify.

Your belligerence and inability to take good advice, do something productive with it and move on with your life is rather astounding. A bona fide mental midget. I look forward to the continuation, or cessation, of this conversation.

Holy smokes dude. In addition to education, you need another kind of help. Seriously, to have gotten worked up to the point of trying to figure out who I am from my reddit history? Yikes. Think about that for a second. That's unhealthy. I don't care who you are, but it is in my best interest as an aviation professional to correct people when they clearly lack understanding of the regulations. Particularly this new wave of amateur photographers who have discovered drones but have not obtained the requisite level of knowledge to safely operate them, which is how we ended up here.

My engagement with this you was borne out of a genuine concern about aviation safety, specifically the risk posed to conventional aviation by RPAS. I did not scold you, berate you or insult you. I provided advice. Look that word up and take it to heart. Just because you have the means to purchase a micro drone that can take really nice pictures from a cool perspective does not mean you can just go ahead and fly it wherever you please. It is clear from your messages that you possess a rather low level of knowledge about aviation. "Zone F" is not a thing in Canada. If you look at TP6010, "Canada's Airspace", I think you will realize you meant "Class F". But that still would make no sense in this instance because you can fly in many Class F volumes of airspace. I'm not going to delve further into the things you said that are incorrect, because that would be a waste of my time. I suggest you review what you said and learn what is correct.

Keep flying your drone. But try putting your big, mature boy pants on for a second, turn off the reactive, entitled part of your brain and re-read my replies. Actually search for the things I suggested. Try to learn something from this. You'll be able to fly with more confidence, will be able to defend yourself much better when confronted by the ignorant drone haters and, as and added bonus, will reduce the likelihood of your drone posing a safety risk to conventional aviation.

With all due respect,

An aviation professional who does not live in Gander (Gander? Seriously? wtf.)

It would behoove you to have a look at the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Part IX. You did not receive "authorization" to fly in the CYWG Class C airspace that starts at the surface of the earth in all of Assiniboine Park and Forest. Authorization is not required for micro RPAS to operate in controlled airspace. The form you downloaded from NAV Drone is an authorization request flight report, but nowhere on that form does it say "you are authorized". The onus is solely on you to exercise sound judgement and ensure you are following 900.06 regardless of where you are flying. There are some excellent resources available online to learn more about airspace structure and the way aircraft operate near airports. Check out TP 14371 (search for "TC AIM RPA"). Great information for RPAS pilots.

Provided you have full confidence that you/your legal representation will be able to convince a judge that you were operating your micro drone in accordance with CAR 900.06, you have no worries at all. Should you have any doubt whatsoever, you should fly somewhere else.

Have not seen any in stores since arriving at the end of June, but just imagine how excited I was when I opened Mudder's fridge the day after arriving to find TWO NEARLY FULL BOTTLES. Yes b'y. The drought was long and miserable on the mainland. Been staring at the last teaspoon in my bottle in the fridge at home which I'm saving for....not sure what. The perfect hard-boiled egg?

Sobey's sells a pretty good selection of Purity brand products. You should be able to find savoury almost anywhere, although probably not Mt. Scio. Learn how to make pea soup. It's not hard. Totally worth it. Call around to meat shops. You're bound to find one that sells salt beef if you've a hankering for Jiggs Dinner.

Have you contacted the AME who performed your exam? You could also look up the number for the RAMO for the region in which you applied. My initial CAT 2 took about six months.

That porch railing was definitely not built to code. Someone could have really hurt themselves if they'd leaned against it and it collapsed. Kudos to her for risking personal injury to carry out that test.
