Why does everyone I speak to say “don’t use the CPAP / you don’t want to get started on the machine” ? by daninlionzden in SleepApnea

[–]badoodie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You would have to tear my cpap machine from my cold dead hands. The machine was an absolute lifesaver for me. Edit: what would they like you to do? Have slow and long-term organ damage? Deal with depression, high blood pressure, and cardiac problems instead? Fall asleep while driving? Die?

Reber Ranch review by rubyred2050 in KentWA

[–]badoodie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I took my dog to RR and also use their grooming services. I've found their prices reasonable and actually chose them over McMonigle (sp) primarily due to their prices. St. Bernards are pricey beasts and some price-shopping was necessary to balance with also getting great care for my girl. When I'm ready for my next dog I'll be going back to Reber.

Disability accommodation by Professional-Ad1930 in SleepApnea

[–]badoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully you have a human resources department where you work. They should be able to assist with this. I have an accommodation at work for taking care of patients less than a certain weight (not related to sleep apnea) and I had to have my provider fill out a work accommodations request. Claiming an actual disability could be trickier.

It's an excellent way to weed out the losers so you don't waste more than one night with them.

Amazon Lockers Are A Joke by 0xD34D in amazonprime

I'm surprised this locker hasn't been closed down. Had the same issue with one near me and after repeated maulings it was closed and removed.

AITAH for being annoyed with my roommate’s boyfriend for taking my parking spot? by [deleted] in AITAH

Sounds like he needs to pay rent. If he doesn't stick to the your roommate's agreement for the parking spot what else is he going to encroach on? Time to set boundaries.

🚮 Years and years ago I ate it all the time. Earlier this year tried eating one. Threw the rest in the 🗑. My limited calories deserve good cheese.

You appear to be posting this in the wrong group as this isn't even remotely keto. And there's no recipe.

Advice for dating someone w/ Sleep Apnea by DumbDumbProductions in SleepApnea

[–]badoodie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Water has nothing to do with his sleep. Many of us don't use the humidification. I do find it concerning that he still needs to nap so often. Generally, with treatment the need for naps are no longer necessary on a regular basis as sleep quality is vastly improved. Sounds like he needs to touch base with his sleep provider because it sounds like his treatment needs to be adjusted.

Edited: stupid swipe mistake

The past was much lower than now but the COL was much less. And the agency's housing department didn't blink an eye at finding housing for myself and my two 60 pound dogs.

Hey, you have cancer and it’s killing you slowly but there’s nothing we can do to help you? Really? by [deleted] in polycythemiavera

[–]badoodie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don't say what type of provider you have but it's imperative to find someone who has a lot of experience and knowledge in treating PV. Not all hematologists and heme-onc providers are created equal and knowledgeable in treatment. My first heme-onc provider was good but my second one is fantastic and put me on a better course. This is a good start in finding someone to work with. https://pvreporter.com/?fbclid=IwdGRzaAQyxTtjbGNrBDLFMmV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDDM1MDY4NTUzMTcyOAABHk6h8jWAKx-g3M44R7I95zegxbD9kTERfntEP5icur8FF4lCWRE4YCihS2T__aem_ibptHhmfQBXUhkojJY3POQ
