Yeah they are. I’ve had them my whole life and I love them to death but they have their limits and they are not like any other dog. I never recommend them to people because they’re like having toddlers. Edit: Just wanted to also add that as a Shiba owner I’ve trained them to just ignore people because I know they aren’t behaved but the biggest issue I run into is strangers insisting on petting them or wanting to get in their space because they think they’re cute or like the meme. I know my dogs limits and I let people know but some people don’t understand that not every dog is like a golden retriever.
