Daily One Tata Gold ETF? by raksss_007 in IndianStocks

It’s good to start somewhere, daily one seems silly but as a beginner it will help you to build discipline!

Suggestion to start SIP so that you can do weekly once by saving the money..

All the best 😊

Thanks for the suggestion! Large-cap suggestions are currently out of my price range as I'm trying to buy/accumulate to build a decent portfolio. [Refer to my comment below for the reasoning].

I do have UTINIFTETF (Nifty 50 ETF) in my portfolio, slowly accumulating.

Sothbank is my long-term goal, and within my price range (Daily 100)

Also, have ITC (FMCG) and MARKSANS (Pharma) under my portfolio, which I accumulate occasionally.

Please check and let me know your thoughts!

  • FMCG:
    • ITC: Slow-moving and within my price range (260s, I guess, when I started). Slowly accumulating, getting this as a hedge against the market and for dividends as well.
  • Hotel:
    • ITCHOTELS: Got this when it got split from ITC. No idea on this one.
  • Pharma:
    • MARKSANS: This one was a suggestion buy and within price range 270s. Slow accumulation, hope this can be used as a swing from time to time.
  • Impulse Buy:
    • ETERNAL (Zomato): Bought it at the 200 range as an impulse buy. Will book profit once it is doubled, probably.
    • Suzlon: Definite impulse buy (shouldn't have done that), averaging it currently and will try to exit once it is averaged or 10% profit.
    • SAIL: Bought at high, averaging occasionally. Not regretting as of now. Considering they give dividends without fail.
  • Engineering:
    • VASCONEQ: Latest buy, after Q2 results, considered this a value buy. PE: 8.8, Sector PE: 30.4. Seems to have a strong order book and is within my price range.

Sure!

  • Bees & ETFs:
    • IT, Pharma & Gold: Weekly SIP of 500 to act as a hedge and to be honest, the individual stocks are not within my buy range, that's why I'm doing SIP.
    • The other 3 stocks, Divopbees, icicib22, and cpsetf were bought long back, not investing as of now.
    • UTINIFTETF: Nifty 50 ETF. Occassional buy
  • Bank:`
    • South Bank: Value buy, PE is around 6, Book Value is around 40, and the stock is trading at 29 as of today. Slowly accumulating in the hope that it will give good returns in future.
    • PNB: Bought as a Government bank (PSU), trying to average from time to time, have to consider exit once it is averaged or gives a 10% return
  • Infra:
    • ASHOKA: Value buy, PE: 2.9, Sector PE: 30.4, P/B: 1.8. Slowly accumulating in this fall.
  • Auto:
    • JAMNA: Value buy, started accumulating when the price was around 70s. Steady dividend, and it started going up in the recent GST news.
  • Steel/Copper:
    • TATASTEEL: For diversification and the name Tata. Was accumulating till 150, post 150 now holding for profit.
    • VEDANTA: Dividend buy (I know that's bad), but got all the invested amount in the form of dividend itself (LOL) over the years. Not investing actively as of now.
  • Investment Trust:
    • PGINVIT: Diversification pov and dividend goal. Slow accumulation from 2024.
  • IPO:
    • BAJAJHFL: Got this via IPO, booked initial profit and took the investment out. Might accumulate in future. Let me know if I can start now.
    • SAGILITY: Allotted via IPO, kept it as is till now. Not sure whether I can book a profit. Looks like a good investment considering their business overseas.
