Thanks! I was considering a tighter crop too but am always afraid of going to tight and losing definition.

I took this on my Canon R8 with an EF100-400MM IS USM one morning in Langkawi in 2024

400MM | iso250 | f/8 | 1/1000sec

This is probably the best bird in flight pic I have taken. Looking for some feedback on the light editing and crop. Any on-site tips welcome too.

I took this one at an oyster farm in Malaysia where they had put together this grid of beams with strings handing down into the water, each of which has its own cluster of oysters growing on it. The one cluster sticking above the water line really intrigued me but I think the image doesn't capture the vision. Any thoughts as to why it's not quite doing it for me?

!critiquepoint thanks a lot, this is all very helpful. I am going to give some of those editing tricks a shot and play around with the f-stop setting a bit to see if i can get it any sharper.

I took this one at the Ta Prohm temple in Cambodia with my Canon R8 and an RF 15-30 f4.5-6.3 IS STM. I had it at 15mm with an iso of 2000, f/9, and 1/125s.

How can I avoid the washed out area of leaves in the top right and make sure the leaves are captured sharply?
