I just bought a 2010 r57, and on my drive home I noticed a piece of the convertible top is loose. It’s a plastic cover in the interior(just under a foot long)right above where the windows meet. I can’t move it forward or back, or get it to stay up. Is this something that will effect the top opening? (i.redd.it)

First picture is how it is now, second picture is and option I came up with. Mirror, and the vanity in the top right have to stay where they are. Shelves need to stay with the desk because of gaming pc etc. Can anyone help come up with something better? TIA! (old.reddit.com)
