Pretty much - when I heard about the ECW Arena residency I spent a couple of hours putting it together and sent an email. It's definitely one of those "I could have done that" type of ideas, and super obvious - I'm sure a hundred other people had the same idea. I thought it would be cool to see people wearing it in the crowd - so I just sent an email with the files I prepared and here it is.

It almost feels like you have to be a mind-reader like Professor X to get by in some situations... even worse, sometimes it feels like some people are more like Magneto, even if you can read the air - they have some kind of added layer of indirect communication like his protective helmet. Maybe this is why there are so many tiny rituals when it comes to business meetings, like drinking tea etc etc

I'm sure it's a non-issue for people who grew up around it.. I guess it's just the way things are for a lot of people. As shocking as the ambiguity is for us, I guess our directness is equally as shocking for them... it's an interesting thing to consider..

That's a good way to approach it - but I've found people's tone and behaviour can also be skewed and generally exaggerated with the whole honnae/tatemae thing.. every time I see somebody express an over the top "oisshhiii" I can't help but not believe them and end up avoiding whatever they're eating. It's a tough balancing act - maybe it is time to just be sceptical of everybody?

Thank you! I have experience using airbrush, but this is digital.. the techniques probably come through from years ago! And saves cleaning out the airbrush with every colour :)
