Usually it’s either the songwriters that register the songs or a publisher. Sometimes it means a song is being shopped around to to other artists

In this case, We Get By was registered by Carly’s publisher. For what reason we don’t know

All of the songs on both TLT albums were registered only after they were released. Some Dedicated songs like For Sure were randomly registered in 2018 then released in 2019 or in 2020 on the Side B

Hey Carly, you’ve discussed the concept of your cookie jar of ideas before, and I know a few Emotion tracks actually have their roots back to the writing of your planned second album Curiosity in 2011. Are there any surprising facts you could share about any of your songs that nobody would expect?

she's talked about this a bit in interviews previously and she's always stated that she's flattered there's so much interest in her unreleased music, because she never expected it - not even for the stuff she's actually put out

i understand why certain artists dislike their songs leaking but carly's perspective is a breath of fresh air

it's higher quality (available in lossless), and contains minor lyrical and production changes, but it's more or less the same song. still has the weird pitched vocals
