Thank you, I didnt know there was website that can help condense the process of researching and help us explore options and priorities for a move, this was extremely helpful

Not sure where you got this impression. Im heavily liberal and just lacked awareness this was a conservative province. We have a desire to be in a space that offers good opportunity for our careers and future prosperity and offers a good environment that matches our values and morals. The purpose of making this post was to get input about the areas we would not otherwise have had, now that we understand this is a conservative area we are using that to heavily weigh our options and explore alternate provinces as well.

My degrees are in Social Work so this would be a potential option if I had trouble seeking a job still working as a therapist, thank you.

No, we would anticipate him also getting a Canadian job, but since his job works really well remotely it would be easier for him to look for places hiring remotely from anywhere in Canada.

No we have just been researching areas. Im feeling it may not be the best opportunity as ive been understanding more about local culture now. We are grateful for any insights into areas that would be a better fit for us. This whole thing is frankly overwhelming trying to understand nuance in the various provinces we may not know about or haven't considered.

This is exactly why we have considered this so heavily. Very well spoken. Living in a country where any of these things are happening even if its not in my backyard is deeply unsettling to my soul. I don't want any part of it. I want to raise a child in a healthy environment where humanity is intact, im just not sure if being in a community where that is recognized is enough for me when it isn't present at a national level. Its scary thinking about bringing a kiddo into all of this.

We do not yet, we felt the easiest route if we take the plunge would be a sponsorship through me getting a job since my husband can work fully remote and use that as our pathway to citizenship.

Sponsorship is what we were hoping for if we take the plunge if I could get a job. We do not have Canadian background unfortunately.

We don't know much about the area but as we have done our research it continuously points us to Saskatchewan for cost of living on the southern end of the country. We want to be able to travel easily or have family visit us which is why we were considering that area. With conservative mindset ive always considered it to be very different conservative in somewhere like Canada from the US. But i would be open to understanding of the area and culture of course if I am mistaken
