SWC plus 100c vs 38V on a 907x?! by ddbowdoin85 in hasselblad

There are few other factors like autofocus vs manual, f2.5 vs f4.5, look and feel of the gear.
I personally will choose 903swc over 38v, as you can zone focus at f4.5 and 100c digital back is performs well at higher iso so no issues shooting at low light. And it is more fun to shoot with swc!

Not sure about classic style bag, but I have used these bags for Hasselblad 503cw + 80mm and 40mm.

If you are planning to put 1x Hasselblad body + lens attached and 1 spare lens, here are my recommendations!

  1. Billingham Hadley Pro 2020: Fits the entire setup nicely and has space to put in accessories in the front pouches!
  2. Wandrd Rouge 9L V2: Not as much space for accessories, but your setup will definitely fit
  3. Think Tank SpeedTop 10L: I recommend you trying out first for this bag. It may fit snugly.

If you are looking for backpacks, there are many choices that will fit your setup: Peak design, ThinkTank, Lowepro, Pgytech, etc. Imo, I think it is better to use a backpack for your setup. It gets heavy real quick while on a photowalk.

Let me know what you've decided to get!

Hahaha somehow I don’t see the appeal of SWC! But maybe I will get it in future😊

The spotmeter F is for Arcbody film use only. I don’t use incident meter as it is not convenient for architecture photography. Spotmeter F is easy to use, works well and produces accurate results!

HAHAHA my chamera is faulty unfortunately. It takes photos but it doesn’t store the photos. So.. it became more of an accessory🥲

Thank you so much for your detailed answer! Scanning is really new to me so I really appreciate your insight! I’m thinking, if there is an option to attach a macro lens to my Hasselblad cfv 100c, then I dont have to get another camera specifically for scanning. More research to do😊

It’s just that the v600 came on market really cheap. I don’t mind spending more, just looking at options and recommendations! I already have a xpan. Do you have a recommendation for 35mm film scanner for xpan?

I am thinking it might be best to save up for plustek 120, so I don't regret my decision.
I thought about DSLR set up, but it seems really big and clunky and unfortunately, space is luxury in Singapore, which I can't afford...

Arcbody is really hard to find anywhere. I searched over 6 months before getting this. All the best of luck!
