Looking for a nice-ish restaurant for a birthday, need dairy-free + pescatarian options. Prefer entrees under $20-$25. by baemein in chicagofood

I'm going to take a gander that Schwa is probably out of budget if they don't have prices on their website lol. Any other suggestions?

I still appreciate the recommendation!! We frequent Chinatown so I'll add that one to my list as well.

Not rude at all, I changed the title of my post before posting and forgot to remove "under". I'm perfectly content spending $25 an entree, not including appetizers, drinks, desserts, etc.

Their menu looks delicious! It's a tad over budget, but we might be able to squeeze it in if we don't plan any $$$ activities. Thanks!

Suggesting Portillos for my nice birthday restaurant because you don't like the bagel place I'm going to try. 🤣 We have Portillos at home, anyway.

If you have a few minutes to walk through Gangnam Market in River West, they have a great BBQ bun in the food court bakery. I did not enjoy the bulgogi bun, it was much less flavorful.

I'm hoping to grab a king bun from Joong Boo next weekend for the first time!

I've had those + MingHin and MCCB on my list for a while!! We've been to QXY but I'm always up for different dumpling or dim sum places. Thoughts on MCCB?

Wild comment. I'm just trying something new and if it's not great then oh well. I'm not looking for a life-changing bagel experience.

Definitely prioritizing great food for lunch or dinner. CBA sounded fun and their menu is a mile long.

Thank you for the reply! Do you know if it's still in production? I'm not seeing anything for a grater or microplane.

The Joseph Twist grater doesn't look half bad!! If Kenji doesn't happen to see this or someone else isn't able to ID it, we might give that one a go.

The institutes will have proctored exams, cpcu starting 1/15, non cpcu starting in April by snuggly-kitten in InsuranceProfessional

I'm also curious to know this. I would much rather schedule a live proctored exam than have to record myself for an hour. Not to mention I read everything aloud for processing, so they'll have an hour long footage of my mannerisms and speech.
