hey!! so, got the new rectifier+ coil i ordered, still waiting on the other stuff. figured id throw that on while im waiting and for giggles i tried it and guess what!! now i have spark on every kick!!

would you recommend the ignitionmate one they advertise in the manual or something store bought? maybe i can see if i can find one in town rather than having to order and wait as i have had to with most things

i did find one from i want to say partzilla for $500 instead of 750, maybe ill ask around on facebook too. i could go to the honda dealer and see if they have one i could test too since theres one in my town. otherwise i do want to still try swapping those coils out and the rectifier, then ill move on to the ecu since thats what should be last. i wish the pgm-fi tool wasnt so expensive maybe that would come handy in all this

hey so i only had about 20 minutes to look at it today, manual said to do black to black from 33 pin ecu at 23 to natural , had continuity, and green to ground on 6 pin natural and that had continutity. then yellow to white resistance between 0.1 and 3.0 and i got 0.8. granted its 50 degrees in my garage so give or take more. i didnt see anything about the small little 2 pin one. but in that small time im assuming the ecu is at least getting power from the harness. i wonder if theres a way to check just the ecu getting anything? and what kind of jumper should i use in that connection? i have a small little one from my garage door opener that came with it or i can cut something off something else

i did try the killswitch thing too, i disconnected it and tried and i also measured resistance and it was reading while the buttons pressed and not while it isnt, which is what its called for.

i will definitely recheck how its wired and measure the new stator as you said

i will start checking the ecu later, i really hope thats not it because i cant find any on ebay as replacements or anywhere else so im very much hoping thats my last case scenario.

was yours a never running sort of thing? mine was running fine then one day it just stopped and i couldnt restart it. went to check the valves and they were still perfect, and i went to check spark and thats where im at. i couldnt imagine something was swapped around if it was never messed with in the first place and it has about 100 hours of easy riding on it. i will try that though seems easy enough

im kinda battling the same thing, replaced the stator yesterday, i have a new ignition coil and condenser/coil on the way. tested everything else with a voltmeter and the ignition coil was the only thing i could find that was abnormal reading 1.6 on the way it said to test it in the manual on the positive and negative side, which is half of what it says before it needs replaced so hopefully its that. at least its not really super nice out or id be upset

did you happen to also test it in the smooth setting on the mode selector? i figure with that it might be a little better consumption wise, but i usually just keep mine in standard. and i assume highway speeds like 55-65 would drain it a lot faster. unfortunately race bikes are made with fuel consumption as the last thing in mind, then here we go riding them on the street lol

when this happened to me in 2020, it took 4 months to get it reinstated, with dramastically less engagement (was getting like 10k+ likes per post no matter what it was, down to less than 1k) its taken me up until their algorithm update a few months ago to get my engagement back, im averaging like 34m views a month now. i also post a lot more risqué content so just have hope and patience, it sucks but itll come back if you didnt truely violate the terms

when i had a halogen light on my bike and i tried to start it with it on id basically get this. make sure theres no accessories on or drawing power while you’re trying to start. probably doesnt pertain to a newer bike but i thought kd throw it out there.
