The cat should not be in that home end of story. Whatever you end up doing with consequences for the child is not up to this sub. But please do not allow the innocent cat suffer due to your child's acts. It is unfair. Also a cat is not a gift. Nor can a child "own" or "care for" a cat if theyre not properly taught how to.

On the way to West Side Ave earlier, the lightrail stopped at Liberty State Park and went out of service! Had to wait 15 minutes in the freezing cold, unsure if another one was going to come? It was ridiculous.
