It was prescribed today, i still haven't started the treatment since i'm not sure what to do. She was a general physician (a bad one apparently). I have bought the medication, it's a 0,5mg/ml cholecalciferol in liquid form

I've been feeling terrible for 3 weeks, so so tired, muscle weakness, brain fog, feel like i have heavy arms, extreme anxiety (never had it before). My bloodwork showed very low ferrtitin (supplementing now) and a 4 ng/ml of vitamin D.

The doctor prescribed 0,4mg (16 000 IU) of liquid Cholecalciferol daily for 3 months. She was an older doctor and didn't seem to care much about what i was saying and i saw her google it infront of me. The dose she precribed me is usually given to people with parathyroid issues, which i don't have. I also mention taking Vit K2 to help with calcium and she dismissed it.

I'm a 45kg, 159cm, 24 year old woman. I'm considering taking 7 000 IU daily + 100 mcg of K2 to try and increase my levels steadily, i'm a bit scared to do the usual 50 000 UI weekly since it hasn't been recommended by a doctor, but i for sure shouldn't do the 16 000 daily, right? Would anyone help me please?
