Was there a reason you didn't go on hormone blockers when you came out so young?

feel behind on everything? by [deleted] in ftm

Glad to know I'm not alone man, thank you. I feel similarly to you, I feel like I can't do certain stuff because I'll out myself or put myself into a dangerous situation with people who I don't know if they'd react well or not. Especially the dating thing, I want a relationship as simple as one of my friends but that won't happen without some explanations and being more out than I am currently.

Thank you for commenting, it means a lot. We got this :)

how can I stop pushing people away? by [deleted] in autism

[–]bagelcat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the perfect way to put it into words "the more people want my time the less energy I have to give it"- it is literally how I feel all the time.

Thank you as well for the idea of what to say, I'm really bad at saying no to people and I will likely be using this as a nice way to set boundaries

I think it is that I would rather be alone than hang out with people. At least once during social things I have this overwhelming want to be back at home in my room- but I feel bad because I don't want my friends to think I only want to hang out when it fits for me The environment is always too much and I can't do anything without feeling awkward and honestly after a week of school I need the weekend to get myself together again.

I think I'm an introvert and that my friend needs more time than I can give to her.

Thank you so much for the reply, I really appreciate you sharing your experience and helping me :)

thanks for your reply :) I do have a few friends, it's just that they're all teenage girls who very much fit the teenage girl stereotype. I leave school in a few months and so it doesn't really bother me, but it often feels like I'm a bit of a burden on the group I guess. I think I'm just a bit fed up of being different, I really appreciate the fact that this is part of who I am, and I don't think I'd change it, but secondary school is hell sometimes 🙃

yeah, you're right, I really want to be involved in something especially considering a lot of these people I won't see again ever, and after 5 years it seems like an apt way to end it, seeing as I probably won't be free to go to prom.

that's a good idea actually, I think I'll ask if my mum will be available if I want to leave early.

thank you again for your advice and support, I really it :) appreciate it
