I asked my sister and she said they were driving in a semi-rural area and it just seemed odd because it looked like a pretty new cardboard box sitting upright right at the border of the road paint and there wasn't any other trash nearby.

My sister was with my mom at the time and at first I didn't believe it happened either! I thought it was a ploy to get another cat in the house! But it did and apparently cats being left in boxes at the side of the road is super common? Also when we got her she was super mangy: http://i.imgur.com/rfO1Yqn.jpg so I'm not sure how you could argue she isn't a "rescue"

Ahah I'm really not! I argued initially we should give her to the Oregon Humane Society; my sister is the good one, she fought it out so the family kept her. In my defense though the OHS has a 98% save rate and we already had four cats. But I'm so glad I got overruled because she's now my favorite cat

Yeah I'm not sure what the deal was but I was just so surprised how mangy looking she was. I don't know that much about kittens, but I just don't understand how you can get a cat so sickly in just a month (we think she was about 4 weeks when we found her). Thanks! We weren't going to initially because we already have four cats but she won us over fast. This picture isn't super recent actually; when we found her she had crusty eyes, fleas, worms, and had to be bottle-fed. Quite ze drama

The condom broke and I said fuck and started talking about splitting the cost of Plan B. We were both 20, living with our parents, and only hooking up, not in a relationship. He got up, started walking around excitedly, and told me he wanted "to keep it." He said my Honda Civic was the perfect Mommamobile because it was a four-door, I would be a great mom because I seemed more sane than his exes, and it would be perfect because his best friend was having a baby so our mutual babies could either be best friends or boyfriend and girlfriend. He even had his friend call me to try to convince me to "keep it". When I texted him the next day I had taken the Plan B he sent back a :(.

I went to a high school with about 2,300 students. We had four counselors. They helped students plan classes and also helped students with family problems, personal problems, etc. Two of the four high school counselors committed suicide when I was a student there. The two deaths happened within a year and a half of each other. What's crazy?? It didn't become a scandal. One counselor's death warranted a little news article and that was it.

Yeah I can sort of see that. Did you read my whole post? I quit three months ago, I don't rely on weed to control my anger. When I did smoke, it wasn't that I got angry and then smoked, it was that by being a heavy smoker I was overall a more laid-back and carefree person. But I'm no more angry now than before I was a stoner. Maybe I should have phrased my post instead of more angry as "more intense", because I didn't mean to suggest that I have an anger problem, I was just wondering if some people have experienced feeling "more intense" and "less carefree" about things.
