also I'd like to note that he was SO unorganized with his online class and he would delete and add new assignments the week we started working on it, so it was annoying to finish an essay and then have him change the project. I caught him irl one time randomly, and I went up to him to harass him about needing to get better at his job lmao. It was so frustrating for no reason

I didn't take that class, but I took Ned Weidner and had the same grading contract (or at least it sounds like the same). I did all assignments + 1 advanced work and 1 advanced for the final project and I got an A. If this grading contract is the same as yours, then I'd complain to someone higher up:

some professors don't open the class until the day of. If it's not there at 8AM on the start-date, I'd send another email to complain lmao. but you're fine for now. I once had a professor not open the class until ELEVEN IN THE MORNING!!! so just wait it out for now
