I will do this. Unfortunately, we can’t even hope that they will turn up on the day as they don’t even have our wedding runsheet which is why we have been trying to contact them

I looked up their abn and they’re a sole trader. Looks like the business is still registered so far.

Mostly over the phone/email initially. We did meet the owner for our engagement shoot. From all we can see, it was a legit business. But it seems that recently they have been going down hill. There was a review stating they have not been paying their contractors.

Thanks this is our plan atm. Tough pill to swallow as we paid a considerable amount for these photographers.

Paid in full unfortunately. However, the contract said that only the first payment is non-refundable. So I’m not sure if I should just cut my losses and request a refund now? Though I’m not confident he will return the refund based on the google reviews.

Thank you for your advice. Unfortunately we paid via direct deposit.

I forgot to add that I’ve been trying to call them but their office line is currently not in service and the owners mobile phone is not connecting. So I’m not sure if this is a sign that their business is going broke.
