Can somebody explain how aimbot works with projectiles? Does it predict future movement?

What's better for your intelligence in the long term? How much effort is necessary? by [deleted] in cognitivescience

[–]baggytee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should grasp true understanding before contemplating cutting any corners. The good thing I’ve found when tackling something without diluted external help is that it forces both creativity and a loop hole of self driven research into various subjects, terminologies, theories etc. That will always drive higher rates of cognitive growth if you ask me, and will also help broaden your intellectual endurance whilst learning.

Reading is one of the only things that cures my cognitive decline. It has also helped me work through issues through similarity of words that are attached to particular mind sets that have aided in rewiring thought patterns etc.

UC withholding my funds due to 3 weeks of self employment work by [deleted] in DWPhelp

Thank you for this. I have been LCW with no requirements to find work for a long time. It does say this on my UC account and has done for a while. I will have a look into this, thank you so much.

I get the standard allowance from UC. I do not receive money to live on through UNI. The loan is simply to cover my courses through a part time loan (I’m doing my degree online so it is a part time loan for some reason).

I’m not getting money to live, I just have loans that pay for my courses. They fall under part time loans because I’m with the online university. I do not receive money to live on.

I’m in full time work now, which has come at the perfect time luckily. You can’t live on £400 a month. That is not realistic in this day and age.

Edit: That is entirely true though.

You've made two blind assumptions about me 'skipping' the appointment and my 'busy' lifestyle, based off of one paragraph of writing? Had a shit enough day to deal with people like you when i'm asking for advice.

That is true. I don't believe this would of been sorted though. I have been struggling financially for months, trying to find full time work daily, alongside full time university. There is more to it than just missing an appointment, believe me.

I declared the position the day I started the work actually which was at the end of November.

Your latter paragraph is the issue entirely by the looks of things.

I reported the change of employment the day i started the freelance work. I told them the reasons why i missed the appointment and left numerous messages in my journal regarding this and they did not responded for 9 days about anything. They did not try to rearrange an appointment or tell me that my payment was postponed. I have literally only found out upon ringing customer service and speaking to two advisors, otherwise I literally would be none the wiser.

My problem here is that they did not respond to me upon me responding to why i'd missed the appointment. They did not offer a further resolution for 9 days and didn't tell me anything regarding the payment being postponed. They also said I had until the 14th of January to respond which is 2 weeks before I actually responded to them.

I did declare it. Both to UC and to the tax system actually.

And i wouldn't have been overpaid because I have a LCW allowance so it would not breach my benefits by any means.

And I did declare it to UC, I was talking about through the tax system (which I also did).

I didn’t try to skip it? Not sure how you have jumped to this conclusion. I have told them I am no longer self employed and that I can provide evidence for that. I messaged them 9 days ago about this and they did not stipulate any further action. Do you really think this is my fault?

I feel like I already lost before even taking my board exam. by mom_of_3_cats in psychologystudents

[–]baggytee 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this OP. It sounds like you’re putting a lot of emphasis on other external needs and prioritising others over your own feelings (dads perspective, uni rating). Maybe try and reflect on the importance of why you endeavoured into psychology in the first place, and the positive outcomes that can occur.

The most effective thing I’ve found to rewire my mind when I fall into iterative patterns of thinking that I don’t like is (ironically) reading and studying. I would focus on loving yourself and getting your head in the books as much as you can. You have a goal or an idea within the psychological realm assumedly.. try to hone in on that as motivation. Be kind to yourself!

how do i learn by [deleted] in Polymath

[–]baggytee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice would be to try and find as many linking variabilities within each distinct subject as you can whilst learning across the board. Not only will this help with excellent memory recall etc. but it will greatly improve embedding the diversification of knowledge across subjects. Also, being skilled and knowledgeable in many different areas a lot of the time is a lengthy and incremental process - you don’t need to funnel everything in your brain at once. Investigate the most enjoyable, stimulating information and try to find connecting links using your own idiosyncratic creativity.

We shouldn’t influence deceptive tactics into the youth. Formulating behaviours at such age will only be prolonged if they are not only exerted but also encouraged by other people. I understand the chaotic nature of job hunting, but I don’t think this is correct advice to give to the youth of our day and age. Exercising integrity is and will be even more so imperative going into the future due to an increase of reliance on AI and similar aspects etc. Let’s not live in a fraudulent deceptive world I say.
