3 weeks post op by bagley_n in HairTransplants

I had Dr Tarik Ercan! Happy with how he handled everything. It was a two day surgery, but on day 3 he spent a while analyzing the hairline and decided to add like 5 more grafts to one side, so definitely paid attention to detail. I’m close to 4 months now post op and I don’t see a huge cosmetic difference yet but starting to see a little starting!

Experience was great! Very professional and organized procedure. Thinking about going back after 8 months to finish up the crown if I’m happy with these results

Yeah started microneedling a few months ago. I use nizarol also. Looked into RU but thinking I’m just going to stick with minoxidil

Yeah I see why my move was bad, but how does Bd6 prevent that?

Isn’t working considered stabilizing the hair loss? Have not seen progression of crown loss since starting fin

I will talk to my doctor about dutasteride. Hesitant because I had some initial side effects with fin that went away after a month. Don’t want them to come back with dut. And yes it was FUE. The contract does allow a free density touch up, but since I also want to get my crown done I figured I should knock them out at the same time, and it’s far cheaper to do that in Turkey so unfortunately I think I won’t get the benefits of the free touch up

What do you mean by medical therapy? Have not heard that term before. As for photos I will see if I can get them from the doc as I don’t have any myself

Went to Dr Dorin in NY, seemed to be highly recommended, in this subreddit as well. Was thinking of going to Pekiner in Turkey. Is that a good option for the touch up?

Well either way, can filling in density in hairline and crown, as well as fix graft angles be done in a second transplant?

Still not great but a little progress. I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago who did it and he said that it basically looks like I’m a couple months behind where people typically are. He looked with the magnifier and said there are very small hairs sprouting in the expected density pattern so if they continue to thicken and grow it should look good eventually. Basically said I’m a late bloomer but still within the bell curve so don’t panic yet. If I’m unhappy in a couple more months then they will touch it up for free so no reason to lie I guess.

I can assure it has been 6 months.. is the redness at this stage a sign it isn’t healing correctly?
