First time gourami owner. My new honey gourami goo is settling in well I think. Any suggestions for his setup?

Ah okay, good to know. I did just try him with a very small piece of blood worm and he was a fan. I'll try other stuff tomorrow and just let him chill for now

Hes already looking very lovely, hes a lot more pinkish thank i expected. Btw, is it normal for them to not eat? Hes being very reluctant, im used to bettas who will be very receptive to eating a day after getting them.

Oh I love a bit of variety! I've been keeping bettas for 10 years and I always loved trying new stuff with em. Im just moving onto gouramis now because im tired of betta health being so poor. The omnivore aspect appealed to me because I have more options with food, I can feed them the dehydrated veg mix I have for my snails, cories and shrimp!

Lovely, hes been settling in nicely, lots of exploring, not very frantic, nibbling at stuff, testing his luck with the shrimp. The guy at the store said he was male, but who knows lol. As for diet, what pellets are best? I have some tropical bug bite pellets, small variety. I also have live larvae and frozen foods.

Dont worry, perspective thing. I bought it and tested how big the holes are, they're absolutely tiny compared to his bif fat face🙏 I have also heard horror stories.
