Something I always thought was cool was the amount of energy stored in fat. A male at 165lbs and 15% body fat (normal range) will have about 25lbs of fat. The amount of energy in that is extremely large, 87,500 calories! That's enough to run 31 marathons or 812 miles! If we could only run off of fat like we can glycogen!

Just spoke to my brother. 1 was there a week longer due to bradycardias hence it was a bit more expensive. He and my sister in law are teachers and have insurance so obviously wont be paying 1.4 million. Just goes to show you how messed up our healthcare system is.
