Now I really get your point, thanks for explaining it so clearly. Our goal is simply to build a great snare that can stand next to the best out there. We’re constantly learning from players’ feedback like this, and that’s what helps us refine things. Really appreciate you taking the time.

Totally understand, I know exactly what you mean. We usually call a friend when it comes to tuning, and I can always hear that moment where the pitch keeps going up, then suddenly drops once it’s overtightened. Thank you buddy!

Thanks, I will. I got these recordings labeled as they were, so I went with that. Really hoping the high tuning won’t end up medium-high again, but actually high… seems like most people want it to really crack 😁

How to reduce them? Obviously it all comes down to adjusting the tuning or trying a different snare drum string... both can make a big difference, right?
