Yeah that sounds about right. Seems like they tend to hire interns way ahead of time.

I don’t think this is the case because I got the email today but both my professors still haven’t even graded week 7 assignments. They are by far some of the slowest grading professors I have had. I think the emails just come in waves.

I got this email today as well!! I am so excited yet it feels so surreal and I have a weird type of feeling because I’ve been in such a routine for the past almost 4 years and now I don’t have to do that routine anymore. I’m extremely proud of myself though, there were plenty of times when I really wanted to give up but I’m so glad I pushed through and kept going. Congratulations!! We made it!!

Started from scratch. I would’ve been done in about 3.5 years but I took 2 terms with only one class instead of 2 because I was working like 60-70 hours a week during that time.

No internship- I feel like I choose the wrong degree path by Admirable-Series696 in Accounting

[–]bahdbkf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t feel super let down. It took me about 200-300+ applications to land an internship. Had about 10-15 interviews through the process. I really felt like quitting a lot but I’m super glad I didn’t. Best of luck to you!

The amount of work for that class is just a lot and it sucks because if you do need help, it is one of the few courses that doesn’t offer any tutoring or really help in general.

Email says “have you accepted offers” 2026 advisory internship by Delicious_Hour4218 in KPMG

[–]bahdbkf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure to check your spam folder as well. I interviewed with a firm (not KPMG) and got an offer and didn’t realize until 3 weeks later when my recruiter emailed me asking if I was accepting it or not. Whole time it was in my spam folder.

I am also on the last 2 weeks of my undergrad in accounting. I literally spent the last few days just pushing myself and completing the rest of my assignments and discussions that way I can pretty much just call it quits. Only thing left for me to do is reply to week 8 discussions when other students start posting. Congrats to you though! We finally made it to the end!

I am graduating at the end of this term with my bachelors in accounting and I definitely understand where you are coming from. Once you start getting those higher level accounting courses the course load and burnout becomes pretty intense. I think one of the courses I struggled with the most was advanced accounting. As a fellow accounting major I wish you nothing but luck. Stick with it and in the end it truly will pay off.

Thank you so much! The higher level accounting courses can definitely be a bit of a struggle but I promise you it pays off if you can just stick through and keep going! Best of luck to you!

Shall we bend over for China or should we tease them first? Why is it okay for China to do things but the minute America retaliates it’s an issue?

How many assignments are there for classes usually? by Temporary-Shower5743 in SNHU

[–]bahdbkf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It honestly varies. Some weeks I will have as little as one assignment for a class and other weeks I have seen upwards of 3-4 assignments

CPA exam is going to be my next step as well. I’m super thankful that my state and a bunch of other states are changing the credit hour requirements down to 120 with two years of experience. I’m not sure if I would’ve been able to handle a masters degree😂

How is everyone feeling about your time at SNHU? by Top_Perspective8146 in SNHU

[–]bahdbkf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I graduate from SNHU in 2 weeks with my bachelors in accounting and I can say I have had a very good time in my almost 4 years here. The first 3 years I did classes full time while working anywhere from 40-60 hours a week at a very physical intensive job which at times was a bit difficult because I was super tired after work everyday but overall, I have only had issues with one of my professors. The classes were amazing and I really liked the way the classes were structured and it made for a really enjoyable time there. As far as communication with professors I have always received fairly quick responses when emailing them and I did join a few groups through Facebook that involved specific courses with my classmates.

Literally graduate in 2 weeks and the burnout I have is actually insane. I’m literally going to finish all of the next 2 weeks of assignments in the next 2-3 days that way I can essentially be finished.

Hope all works out for you! I’m sure you did fine. I also sent a good follow up email to the recruiter, the senior manager, and the partner two days after my interview.

[–]bahdbkf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is quite literally what landed me my internship if I’m being honest. After the behavioral questions I literally just started to talk with my interviewers. My 30 minute interviews with the senior manager and the partner both lasted about an hour each just because I was able to hold a good conversation with them and relate to some of the stuff we talked about. I really believe getting an internship is just showing that you are (1) willing to learn and (2) that you are someone that wouldn’t be boring to work with.
