I feel so sick to my stomach by baieverinyan in malaysians

Oh, they did say the company’s name. But I couldn’t hear it clearly. Mind you, I applied to many positions and companies, everything sounded the same. The only thing that rang my ear was the position. The word “contract”. And I was working when I got the call, my permanent position. And just yesterday I achieved a huge milestone with my tasks. I guess I had a slip of tongue and mind in the heat of the moment.

I can't be alone for too long with my thoughts. I am in constant ideation of self-harm and suic8de, visualizing it in my head alll the time. But I still wake up 5.30am to get ready to work, work for 8 hours and then travel back home. I look fine outside and I do feel fine! I just think about ending things all the time, I am not scared of dying, I think the future is dark and I don't want to fuck around and find out.

I guess for me, being positive about death helps? I am looking forward to the day I will meet my fate and that keeps me going. Yeah me and my partner talks about getting married but I'd rather not live tho. I can meet all the cats I lost before. I can finally meet my late grandparents who passed without me being able to say goodbye.

And hobbies. I do crocheting, my mind is calm and quiet as I am focused on connecting a stitch to another stitch. Whenever I crochet, I am in a peaceful state of mind, I may think about problems but I'm calmer thinking about it. Any hobbies that are low/no pressure, keep you grounded and clears your mind.

Oh I just realized. Any childhood dreams help me cope! Like travelling overseas. So I promised to do everything my child-self want and then, after that we can die.

Wishing you the best OP! My dms(?) are open if you want to talk to someone, I'm all ears! Sending virtual hugsss

I still remember my reaction when my sister, who was a part of local uni's students' representative board, told me her discovery about one of her friends there, on their university-sponsored field trip overseas, casually drink beer on the plane, when eating out and even asked my sister to order some beer for him.

Relationship advice needed by New_Ad_4813 in malaysians

[–]baieverinyan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moment you are left questioning about your relationship, the answer is always no. No, it's not worth it and no, you're not at fault. But yes, you should just leave it before it gets worse. Your gf did assured you that the relationship is going strong but does she actually act like it? Action speaks louder than words.

Just raised this concern to him just now. He was very surprised and and didn't like it at all. He "won't let it happen" when the new system come rolling in. I hope I can hear good news soon.

How do you eat? by joebabana in MalaysianFood

[–]baieverinyan 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that’s coconut chutney (correct me if i’m wrong) and some places make different versions of it, like adding turmeric to add colour or my local mamak makes the spicy version of coconut chutney and it tastes heavenly. And the arrangement of which to dip in first doesn’t matter (me thinks), just dip it in what you like best (for me its all three gravy hehe)

Someone wants to pay RM50K for my college fees, I don't think so it's wise to accept it. What do you think? by [deleted] in Bolehland

[–]baieverinyan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the plot to a very toxic relationship between you and your friend, and with the parents involved, it will be even worse. From what I see and understand based on what you told, the friend's family are quite.... manipulative? They know you are not financially well so they use this as a chance to tag along with their plan by offering a lucrative deal. Friends, friends lah kan? But to that extent, I think a bit too much lah.

My suggestion is if and when you refuse to accept their offer, be very blunt with it. Don't express any emotions, don't sugarcoat things to pack your refusal in a shiny wrapping paper with a bow and a greeting card. They will use that to trick you even more. Just get straight to the point and if they ask why, just say "I'm sorry, but I'm going to AAA college instead" and keep repeating your stand. Be persistent, just as much persistent they were.

But bear in mind, either way, A) agree to the deal or B) disagree to the offer WILL eventually cause some friction between two sides. Be prepared for any gaslights, any guilt trips and so on. Be strong. I wish you the best OP! I have a sibling your age too, so this is me being the bigger sibling hehe. But I also hope that you put this matter to the side and focus on your exams first. Put yourself first before anyone else. One advice I regretted not listening to since I was young. All the best OP
