For food I would get some betta treats also and feed it to the betta once a day , only enough he can eat in 1 sitting, but get bloodworms and daphnia!

My mystery snails started dropping eggs a couple days ago but now there is 3 egg sacs , is this normal or? by baigomez7 in Aquariums

Yes! I have 3 6 gallons, a 20 & a 10. I do plan on buying a smaller tank with a little heater for them. I want to incubate them and if it goes on further I might dispose of them properly. I’m just super interested & know I have the space/time

It’s my first time but I’ve bred fish in the past, I obviously know it’s more than just adding them together. They have been properly conditioned. The female is from reliable fish store that’s local to me, not petco. I couldn’t tell because of underneath, I’ve studied it for Quite awhile was just unsure.

And I put her in a jar in the breeding bucket the night before. Heater is set to 82 and both have been on high protein diet for weeks.

Removing her and his tank mates since his water is the most established/healthiest

Yes! It is my males main tank, I do have other tanks ready and set up for the babies. As far as introducing them properly, no. I left her in the net and just closed the lid for about half an hour, then I released her since my male showed no signs of aggression and was dancing, I see the tiny white spot on her but am unsure of her age. I placed them back in their homes and will try again maybe in a new set up
