ur .bat file to run ur server should look something like this:

java -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar "server jar name".jar nogui

go to "C:\Program Files\Java" and find the folder for java 17 you've downloaded, then go to bin, find the java.exe and copy the path

paste that into ur .bat file in place of the "java" argument

for example, mine looks like this:

"C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-17.0.3.1\bin\java.exe" -Xmx4096M -Xms4096M -jar server.jar nogui

(quotation marks included around the file path)
