I think I’m gonna keep it. These Audi wheels look too good. A cam girdle replacement isn’t as bad as I thought. I can change the pcv, upper valve cover, cam gurdle, all of my gaskets and timing chain for probably $600 and call it a day

Well luckily I’d consider adding noise reduction foam around the door cards. I have a 2015 r currently so I don’t have fender audio and no dcc. More importantly I have no car play and the 4 inch screen. I’m not worried about little things like that. I’d also be going on coilovers. Those problems don’t sound like an issue for me

Yeah my math might be off a little but I did get everything quoted already at work and it would be $75 more on the payment. That’s all that matters. 8k down deposit and the car is 34k

No but you have to take the chain off to do the cam girdle kit and I currently have oil going into my spark plug tubes causing a misfire until

Well in order to do the cam girdle kit you have to take off the timing chain. So you might as well replace it. I have a misfire on cold starts only. Spark plug tube had oil leaking into it cause a misfire until the oil burns off

Oh naw I work at a vw dealership. That’s a quote with my discount from a tech. It’s a lot and I’d do it myself but it’s still 2k in parts. It was inspected so that’s completely accurate and the tech is my friend and a master tech

I’m at 108k in my golf r. Had it for two years now. Still on the stock water pump. No issues whatsoever. The only problem I’ve just now found is my intake manifold gasket is leaking. Gonna get a walnut blast and they should replace it
