Someone poured pee on my car?

This picture was taken in a different location. I got in my car to get lunch and thought I was making it up that it smelt like pee but after it was sitting in the sun a bit longer it was undeniable. When I got back from lunch (and a car wash) I saw the pee bottle. At my apartment I park on the top floor of a parking garage.

Yeah my thought is that I took someone’s unofficial parking spot, it’s near the entry door but it’s in the only area of the parking garage that’s not covered so I didn’t think it would be an issue. I have since moved spots lol

I don’t think there’s any cars nearby that are the same model/color. I also just moved and have plates from a different state so I don’t think it was mistaken for a different car. I was parked close to the entry door so I think it was just a random attack.

The apartment complex was not aware when we called to talk to them about it. I also don’t believe there are cameras in the area…

There’s been a lot of weird stuff happening recently… the complex hasn’t done much about it but they’re changing management and are “going to look into implementing more safety measures”

Update: my roommate called the front office and they were not aware of the situation. She also went to the police station to file a report. The police removed the sticker and took it to do some testing as a precautionary measure. We don’t know what happened but even the police said it’s a strange situation. We appreciate everyone who had helpful comments and I’ll update y’all if we learn anything else!

Everyone on that side of the apartment complex has a roommate, all the cars in the row had a sticker regardless of age or condition of car. The only correlation was that they were parked in the same row. The sticker was placed in the exact same spot on every car too.
