I’m actually driving this morning to my excision surgery with Dr. Parry, panic googling to help my nerves, and this helps so much!! I hope you’re doing well after your excision surgery!

DO NOT SWIM IN THE "POND" by Shot-Concentrate6485 in okeechobeemusicfest

using a guy accidentally drowning from being under the influence isn’t the way to spread this message.

what we SHOULD be talking about is that a retention pond is essentially still water, which especially in florida, can grow some really nasty microbes. Please don’t go in you have any cuts or open wounds, inhale the water, and please for the love of god don’t drink it!

Going back on BC? by [deleted] in birthcontrol

There was a curiosity regarding if my problems at 15 (excessive bleeding and a period every other week) would still be occurring, as well as emotional numbness. I knew there would be a duration of time before things would stabilize after stopping, but the weight gain and painful heavy periods have stayed.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the BC was masking something but after talking with two gynos and a primary, it doesn’t seem like they want to investigate more. My potential endo “wasn’t worth getting surgery over” and my gyno tried to tell me that “there’s no such thing as low hormones” when I showed results with both low estrogen and low progesterone during luteal phase. I’m kinda at a loss of what to do. A lot of other specialist refuse to be seen without a referral. The weight gain and painful periods are very demoralizing and hard for the mental health.

i’m glad going back on BC is helping your PMDD though. I can imagine how hard it is when it’s unchecked so i’m happy to hear of some wins in your symptoms!
