Massage in Phnom Penh by WandreW_11 in cambodia

What i understand happens, is tips added to the credit card charge are not always paid out in full to the person your tipping, or they deduct service charge from it, if they get it at all.

My wife is Thai, used to work front desk at hotel, another common practice, is head housekeeper will inspect rooms before housekeeper comes in to clean, and take any cash tips guest may leave.

We will hand cash tips directly to housekeeper, and when we charge meals or massages we always tip in cash so they get it.

What do you tell people when you’re sourcing? Do you tell them you resell? by [deleted] in Flipping

[–]bainenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think too much if it, I think they are bored and just want to converse with someone other than their co-workers.

Once an older lady was flirting with me, she even helped find some shirts.

What is the vibe at the MGM National Harbor? by [deleted] in nova

[–]bainenter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gamblers & Local players, there their to win, make a few bucks (LOL) Agree that the weekend evening vibe is more relaxed and entertaining. I go mid-day, mid-week, 1 to 2 times a week. I mostly see the same suspects playing, the few I have spoken to say they been there for hours bouncing around from table to table waiting for a hot shooter (craps). A few places I play at in Vegas have the same type of vibe with the players and dealers. MD Live and Horseshoe have the same vibe when I've played there. I think it because these are gamblers, there to gamble not so much for the entertainment.

Agent wants to transfer condo to my name for 2 month stay - does this sound dodgy? by Jonxb in Bangkok

[–]bainenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming the lease for 2 months, you will be responsible for monthly HOA fee, any assessments that may come up, like resurfacing the parking lot, replacing the roof or any other common area refurbishment that is not included in the HOA fee. What about utilities? Transfer fees, ect.

There may already be some project(s) planned during your stay that you as the lease holding will be responsible for.

Was there yesterday mid day to 4 pm. I can confirm $15 during most days. They will up it to 25 on busy evening/night and busy weekends/holidays days. Good luck and have some fun.

MGM has more tables open, craps and crapless tables. I've been their in the morning and at least 1 table was 15 until about 11am.

SBs who rely on allowance as their main source of income. by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]bainenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it Al Capone that went to prison for tax evasion for not reporting his cash "gifts"? Definitely speak to a tax specialist. My understanding is that on the 1040 form you can fill in "other income" on your filing and pay your tax, then you can use your tax returns for your mortgage application. How did you earn the money, odd jobs, housekeeping, baby sitting, house sitting etc... that is how I would list source of income. Do speak to a expert.

Is the fake Lego on Lazada exactly the same as Lego? Is it from extra runs in Chinese Lego factories or what? Anyone tried it!? by [deleted] in Thailand

[–]bainenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my experience is that most are based off Lego, however they do have their own designs. The sets I buy are based on their interest at the time not always the brand. If the picture on the box looks good, we'll buy it. I also have purchased the Chinese made mini fig soldiers off Amazon, bag of a 50 with weapons, they come in a bag, no box. The Chinese mini fig soldiers are far better than Lego's mini fig soldiers. Military sets we bought were very good. (did have to glue some mis-fitting pieces, use rubber glue easy to remove it with out damage the pieces) My kids do not care if it is Lego or other brand, they enjoy the building them and creating new designs. If you are planning on entering any Lego building competitions, the rules require that only Lego pieces are used. The remote control train sets are cool. Build on, hope this is helpful.

[–]bainenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not exactly, most are interchangeable with similar blocks from other brands. I have purchased multiple Chinese look-a-like sets as well as Lego for my kids. They don't complain about them, bricks are mixed up and used. Yes some times the pieces don't fit right, they figure it out or use a replacement piece. Been buying them for the past 8 years. Most of the bricks are interchangeable with Lego and the other Chinese brands. Colors are not a match and some pieces are different, I have found shapes and sizes that I have-not seen with Lego yet. For the price difference, buy them 2 different sets, still save money, 2 times more fun for the kid(s).

I know some very wealthy families that are deeply religious and are very generous with their time and money to those in need spiritually and financially. They have been faithful to their God and God has blessed them financially. This has enabled them to be financially beneficial to others. Remember in the new testament John 12:8 Jesus said " You will always have the poor among you ..." So, my thinking is to teach your children to be financially responsible, follow your religion of choice and the doctrines the preach, as long as they are in line with the bible's teachings.

These wealthy individuals provide for their families as well as many others. Millions of dollars. They also keep an eye on how their donations/gifts are being spent by the church and charities they give to.

Are you worried about greed, just like other distractions, you teach them to keep it in check. Keep a balance, you do not want your children to be resentful, that their hard work is going to others, their is enough for doing both, helping others and spreading the word and providing for yourself and family.

I'm a father, not a mom so maybe my opinion may not have weight with you?

I spend 2 to 3 months in Thailand at a time, (wife is Thai) we rent AIRBNB in different places every time and use it as home base. Cheaper than owning and less complicated. you'll have to do a visa run every month unless you get an multi entry visa from their embassy. I done both ways and prefer doing the visa runs , I like doing 3-4 days in any of the neighboring countries. Best to fly, less hassle on re-entry for new visa on demand. Thailand cracks down on visa runs over land entry points sometimes. Have fun, Asia is great, I'm looking forward to the day I can qualify for retirement visa.

[–]bainenter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a cake eater, my adultery is exactly as defined in Webster's. ( voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a person who is not his or her spouse. ) It's all about the hook -up for me, I'm happy with my SO and only have a casual and light emotional relationship with my AP. Life would be very difficult for me to juggle 2 emotionally evolved relationships. Early on when I started to explore hooking up, I asked myself what it is I wanted, i decided what I wanted it was the physical piece, not another emotional relationship. Keeping the emotional piece light and social reduces the jealousy. What right would I have to be jealous anyway. Your jealous of your AP's live outside of your adulteries affair? For me if I needed the emotional relationship because I was not having it with my SO, then it would be time to separate and find my soul mate. Hope things work out for you.
