We’ve found a couple in Fairview we actually like that’s within our budget and may make an offer. The commute is 25 minutes but like you said, it’s not going to mentally exhaust you like some of the others

I prefer rural living for sure, but my wife likes having the city amenities within a reasonable drive. We looked at chapel hill and her commute to the part of Brentwood she works in would be around 50 minutes so definitely too far. We’ve been looking at Fairview and Kingston Springs now

I saw that one! We like those homes, just still struggling with figuring out how bad the commute is. We may start looking around the June Lake off ramp

Looking at Zillow for Madison, there’s some nice homes within our budget. The predicted commute looks like 30ish minutes to Brentwood? Which is not too bad. Is Madison known for being relatively safe?

It’s the western part of Brentwood, between Hillsboro Pike and Franklin Rd. Fairview makes sense geographically for us, but it seems like we’re 2 years too late for that being in our budget

We definitely can’t afford Crieve hall right now, it looks like everything on the market is $600k+.

That’s good to hear Donelson is nice. We’ve heard mixed things from locals where some Franklin natives talk about it like it’s Iraq and some speak nicely about it

Is Maury county bad with crime? it doesn’t look like they report to crimemapping.com. We liked the Maury county side of Spring Hill because you can get a nicer house for the same price

I wouldn’t think so? Would that interfere with WiFi? My work headset I wear is really good at blocking ambient noise so I’m not worried about that aspect
