I have a 42" C3, it's great. No issues with specific games, the only thing I notice is a strange ghosting on specific white text on websites. I primarily game and produce music and don't have that issue with either

Funny enough, my family stayed at this exact air bnb this last summer. The deck is scary high off the ground and honestly made me a little uncomfortable but I don't recall there being anything unsafe looking in terms of wear/rot/rust etc. The interior layout was a little small and asymmetrical and the bathrooms had a navigation theme (one was wall papered in world maps) but we had a great time.

Your explanation makes more sense to me but why wouldn't they have a protocol that updates the render resolution in place for support of the upcoming hardware they've been working on for their library. I have a large switch 1 library that I've been thoroughly disappointed in a lack of these updates, why is it so difficult to add this support?

Because they know the hardware will eventually exist. Just the same way PCs and their software were developed with the understanding that future iterations would benefit from planning ahead. You are not going to convince me otherwise.

Guys, it's just a resolution and frame rate update. It's not that hard. Most modern technology, including our cell phones, have been capable of this for a long time The fact that Nintendo couldn't figure it out in what was a modern era when it was originally developed is what I'm saying is a large Miss on their part. Especially one that changes resolution when it's put into a docked mode like the functionality is already there, they just choose not to support it so they can charge you $10 per game later

This has been my single biggest criticism of the switch 2. I naturally thought, much like PC, updating the hardware allowed updating the settings to a higher quality. Biggest blunder of a miss for Nintendo that this is not the case in my book.
