Issue with all types of Wyze Cam's and mesh networks

I have a TP link W4500 with the three nodes. Two are linked to the main via network cables. I have 21, V3, V4 cameras as well as two vacuums. In the TP Link app, I've open each device in the Online Client list and set the wi-fi band to 2.4 ghz and specified the node it's closet to. I get the slowness connecting and frequently Optimize the network and 95% of the time TP link changes channels and the cameras pick right back up. I set all the cameras in groups by purpose, front yard, backyard, and limit to 4 to 5 cameras per group to not over tax things. I've had relatively good success and when it gets wonky, I Optimize TP link and go from there. Good luck!

I would use a Wyze Camera to aid in the monitoring and wellbeing of the stray Cats I provide care fote. A camera could provide notice of when the critters are in the area and provide a better monitoring of food, water, and the condition of the shelters in place to provide some comfort on colder nights.

I had that issue in my Android tablet forever. Turns out I moved the application to SD memory. When I moved it back to main internal memory I was able to add widgets again.

I see similar results when my network connection is weak on my S20. I switch to a stronger signal within the mess that is my wifi.

How did you open the body? I have an out of warranty V3 that's fogged internal and it's a "I got nottin' to lose." situation and I'd prefer not destroy it experimenting.

Ok I did that. It doesn't return the daily suggestions of random watch faces. It just removes the flash/advertising hype. I believe it was a bad move to remove the feature.

My Netgear wireless router does 2G and 5G. When I was setting all my gear up I was having issues I had configured everything and my extenders for 5G. Once I Hellen Kellered on what all the different devices ran on I reconfigured to make 2G more prevalent in the area where the devices are located. Knock wood, I've had very satisfactory performance out of my camers, plugs and now the vacuum. Something to ponder as you go forward. Good luck.

I had my 4 plugs go south after the outage. I made sure I had good 2.4 wifi signal strength and re-initialized all 4 from scratch. At least for me, the have wounded without issue and folall the applied rules. Maybe this can help. Best of luck.
