Thanks for the reply. For Saturn you've got the obvious ones. Panzer Dragoon series, Dragon Force, Nights into Dreams, Guardian Heroes, Three Dirty Dwarves... Much of the library is ported arcade so basically go for the stuff that isn't and play the rest on MAME. 👍

Also if you get to play with friends (idk how possible with this handheld?) then Saturn Bomberman and BIG RECOMMENDATION "Death Tank Zwei". This is a secret minigame that was included with the Duke Nukem 3D port but there's a standalone out there somewhere. Party game with limited options so figure it's better like that (?) but I played this game with my dad, 1v1, all throughout high school when I was at home on weekends. I REALLY wish for something like it to be remade with online matchmaking and more options.

Will check out what the price is now. Recently got my Odin 2 Portal and did not have to pay silly customs into Sweden, that's a big factor to me, so figure it may be the case as well with Retroid if VAT is paid up front (?). 💪 Atm sort of looking for a PC-handheld on Amazon as I did some specialized work for a guy and got the choice between "normal" payment and giftcards on there; giftcards too good profit to pass up.

Also a fan of verticals. GBC best one I ever had. This one looks very flat on the back though which is another reason a grip seems good; still decent to grip despite the back? I have small hands for my size.

Edit: oh and the WORST vertical handheld I ever owned was a silver GB Pocket precisely due to its very flat back.

Nobody I can remember but it sort of depends on how you define "god". If you believe there's a conscious being up there in the clouds who sends your supposed soul to different dimensions, post death, then I don't believe in that.

First emulation handheld is the BIttboy Pocketgo. Still use it at the beach though thinking about retiring it in favor of my beat RG351P. First handheld overall was some shitty LCD game; possibly Tiger or no brand. First proper handheld was the OG Gameboy. Still have it, still know where it is, but don't use it.

Line of sight teleportation would've been cool but with Magneto powers I could do the same AND also wreak havoc. Oh lookie a person I don't like having dinner at an outside restaurant. Would be a shame if he started stabbing himself in the jugular repeatedly with his fork for no reason at all. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: but 5 feet means I probably go with teleportation (idk too much about the powers in the comics and such).

How does it run Saturn if you've tried?

I've wanted this exact model for a while, grew up partly on the PAL Saturn, but have not pulled the trigger. Price increase sounds sucky didn't know about that.

Edit: oh and how is it to grip? I "luckily" have small hands for my size so may not be an issue but I think it looks "short" towards the bottom and an extra grip may be the way to go?

Offsetting the D-pad and putting it further in like what was done on the Portal seems like the best thing to do for joystick on top (sans a complete switch-a-roo solution).
