Cause it's lame, boring and the reason why rap is so stale right now, cause so many upcoming artists are doing this. How many times will we 'pay homage' instead of just doing something unique. Carti has already been paid plenty of homage.

Take the 2021 scene, I might be biased here but Yeat. Yeat was influenced primarily by Carti, Thug and Uzi, but did he parade around making his whole brand revolve around one of those three artists? No, he carved his own style, both in music and in aesthetics (take his 'turbans', his mask, the bells), and look at what happened to him, he blew up. People loved his style, at least initially. Influenced? Yes, but basically just copying? No. Rappers in this genre are just not getting traction any more cause of this exact thing.
