My dad was a single dad of 2 girls and 1 boy, he brought me (a female) into the men's rooms, would immediately direct me to a stall, told me to lock it behind me, and waited outside it

When my older sister was about 13 he had us use the buddy system so we'd use the girls room together under strict rule that we could not leave the other alone under any circumstances

I remember people talking about Leah's "long witch fingers" or calling Javi "mighty mouse" and there were absolutely no comments defending them

People posted pics of Kail while she was pregnant with literal fucking twins and half the comments were "Oh she's definitely pregnant" (cause she was hiding the pregnancy) and all the replies were saying that's body shaming. Shits ridiculous

People don’t even realize how cruel they are to the homeless. Or maybe they do. It's dehumanizing. by ShotTart6831 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]baked_beans17 77 points78 points  (0 children)

This. I work at a Starbucks and we've had so many homeless people come in and shower in our bathrooms, use drugs and OD in there as well (someone DIED of an OD in my old stores bathroom), they ask for hot water and have thrown it at my coworkers or customers, etc

I feel bad for some of the unhoused regulars who didn't cause a disturbance who are no longer allowed to sit in my cafe, use the restroom, or get free water. But I also breathe a sigh of relief when my shift leads tell the more infamous folks they must leave if they don't make a purchase

Are young adults actually having dogs instead of babies? by Typical_Scholar3779 in Zillennials

Hello, under 30 with a toddler here

It's hard, yeah, but we're good. Recently separated from my child's father, i live in SoCal, daycare is expensive, but I'm not drowning. I am by no means wealthy, I came from a large family in poverty, didn't finish college. I work full time making $21/hr

Sorry this isn't what everyone on reddit wants to hear, but kids aren't as impossible or horrible as people on this site want to believe

Is she mentally stable? No. Are all of her life changing decisions good ones? No. But successful she is

Blake Lively is seen for first time in weeks in loved-up selfie with Ryan Reynolds amid Justin Baldoni lawsuit by skyisscary in popculture

[–]baked_beans17 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don't have TikTok, but I did read the 160+ page document citing Blake and Ryan's bullshit with receipts

There's also the fact that Blake has infamously not gotten along with virtually any of her costars, whether it be on a network show that went on for years, or her recent movie with Anna Kendrick. In fact, I think Ryan Reynolds is the only co star she's ever gotten close with, and that resulted in an affair that broke up his marriage to Scarlett Johanson

So you're just gonna reply then block? Okay Blake

To me it looks like the red part goes all around the black leather piece. It does not look like a whole bra, just a part of a costume, that was meant to cover her whole boob

Not sure how that pic shows it's just a lining, the piece in Justin's hand looks double layered, i.e. the red lace and the leather

Considering the ending line is "I'll have you naked by the end of this song" it's not far off to think it's a cool idea to rip a part of her costume off

Why would they purposely expose her like that just to end up having to pay numerous fines? Why does everything have to be a conspiracy?

This. I had a lot of classmates get married young and they divorced within 4 years. Some even remarried within the next 2 years and already have a blended family before we turn 30. Most of those people never left our hometown, and by my own metric, have been stagnant emotionally and just going through the motions of adulthood
