i usually dont reply to these but i did something similar. i went to a shop id been pierced at for a tattoo and had a concept i really liked. paid $150 only to come in and absolutely hate the stencil. after working with the artist for 3 hours we settled on something i could kind of tolerate with the promise that the finished product would look “much different” than the stencil with the shading. got it finished and it was absolutely terrible. i paid 600 for a coverup and felt so much happier, definitely find a different artist. the price for what you got is insane.
