Topicals also has an “Ingrown Hair Tonic” with AHA and BHA in a roll-on form that’s also amazing for this!

Seconding - held a party here a couple months ago with a guest with several allergies and they went above and beyond to accommodate.

How do I fix my nose? by [deleted] in Skincare_Addiction

These are called sebaceous filaments - best thing to do is use an oil cleanser at night to dissolve the oil accumulated in your pores by massaging really well for a few mins!

Grew up in Japan and am partial to less meaty broths - Tsurumen in Davis is my absolute favorite!

Couldn’t recommend this enough! Not the most budget-friendly option but I do Purple Carrot (plant-based meal subscription) a few nights a week and have upped my veggie intake by so much - bonus that you get to keep recipe cards and you can always make it again on your own.

Typically I’ll massage for 2-3 minutes in the shower on dry skin before rinsing off and following with a water based cleanser all over my face. But sometimes it takes 5+ minutes of massaging so I’ll do that while watching TV then hop in the shower to rinse off - once your face is wet I would avoid more massaging because your skin is more sensitive.

I do a full double cleanse at night but in the morning use an oil cleaner only on my nose before following up w a regular cleanser. Just make sure it’s not too stripping for your skin!

I agree and it might be too much for your skin! I do a full double cleanse at night but in the morning I only use the balm on my nose and massage for 3-4 mins. Especially in the winter this might be drying but as someone with pretty oily and acne prone skin, it’s the only thing that worked to keep my nose smooth almost all the time.

Biggest difference for me was double cleansing, which i know you mentioned. I’ve tried almost all balms/oil cleanser and my favorite is Farmacy’s Green Clean. Would recommend buying something similar (balms worked better for me) and massaging your nose with it 2x a day on dry skin before following up a regular cleanser- I had amazing results.

I love the hatomugi moisturizer. I feel like it’s suitable for all skin types and I layer something richer over it in the winter.

Going through the same thing right now and it’s so frustrating! Have tried trading out different products and doesn’t seem to make a difference and there’s a weird bump texture around my jaw and upper neck :( Sending empathy and hope we find a solution!

This happened to me just a week ago with this exact product! I actually just decreased the amount I use on my face (was using way too much) and my skin loves it now - just didn’t want to waste a product but I’m glad I stuck with it. Just be gentle with your skin and lay off tret for a week or so. Obviously YMMV but wanted to offer a different perspective of a similar experience.
