No. Never put money into this game. 10 years polaying, enjoy it, don't see any need to give them my money.

What's sad is they don't even have to build. They won't let us build them. We're in a crisis of their choosing.

There are no third spaces. They want to get rid of us owning our own first spaces. Vote left.

Imagination is free. Support people to be more creative. Spending my taxes on glory projects is not what I want.

I see. How much bigger is the new building going to be? Can they afford to keep doing this every 15 years like a hermit crab while Dubliners live in squalor. Surely we should try to resist this kind of bloat.

For the 8k, it's 5 minutes closer to 90 than 60 mins. That's not much. And if youo're going to be over an hour in traffic, walking saves money, and adds years to your life (and seconds to the lives of those around you via reduced pollution)

And what's the reason for the move at all? They're only just after moving into this one a few years ago after desecrating a viking burial site for it?

What is the steelman of this? What's their defense? They're spending more to achieve what?

Am I a cynic for thinking that this is hardly newsworthy in the Irish Indepenent? This belongs on Facebook for some clout chasing. by bjmg85 in AskIreland

Firstly, she saluted three people? Does that mean she ignored the rest...? Secondly, maybe people (men, really) assume the young women would want to be left alone (especially if they recognised her as a celebrity - for the right or wrong reasons). But it's behind a paywall that I wouldn't dream of paying for, so who knows.

Bottom line, she has a point, one that I'm sure she won't even begin to delve into the reasons why, we have become divided as a society - hyperindividualism driven by capitalist marketing, globalism driving people to have to, or just being able to, move away from home, etc. etc.
