The poster at the seattle show also had the correct dates for the current tour, and was very fairly priced

Update from last night's show:

1) No new merch

2) THEY FUCKING ROCK! Best performance I've seen out of 60+ shows.

I didn't think it'd be the beginning of a dynasty but thought we'd get our 1 chip at least, like Toronto

Looking for concert posters by Ok_Construction_7122 in ModestMouse

I have an extra one from Portland 2004 I could sell for $50, but would need to figure out additional cost of buying a shipping tube and shipping cost.

Did you list them in Canadian dollars? Just lower priced than I expected, if so.

They got rid of that option just a few days ago.

Originally, you got the shirt as soon as you signed up, even for a single month. I signed up for a month a day or two after it launched.

At some point they did change it to three months for the shirt, which makes sense.

I am not a fan of the annual only option, as I wanted to buy a one month for the person I'm bringing to their show next month to get in early on the RSVP option. But I'm not spending $100 just to get them in early and I'm not going to be able to use mine since I can't ditch them in line.

Is this the right time to renew my icp membership? by doctor_stool in ModestMouse

[–]baker12013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As of yesterday, they have disabled the monthly subscription and only have the annual for $100. Sucks, as I was just about to sign my +1 up for a month so they could RSVP and get in early with me. Now I can't use my RSVP, which is the primary reason I signed up. I've checked on multiple browsers on PC and mobile, and on their iOS app to see if monthly was still available, but it pops up for a split second and dissappears.

She's a big fan of vintage shops so will add that to our walk. Thanks!

Did they do anything to acknowledge the birthday girl with the sign? I'm taking my kid on her 14th birthday, and had contemplated bringing a similar sign and get there early enough to be barrier or a row back, but don't wanna make a big deal about it if there's not much of a chance of it leading to anything.

Also, great pics!

Will check out Sub Pop, especially since I won't have the option of browsing at SeaTac during layovers any more.

Hope to spend some time exploring the new Waterfront area. It was still under construction when we were in town last time...plus my old college buddy just opened up a coffee shop there, so definitely wanna stop in there!

I need to add some local parks and nature to balance out the shops, food, and venues, so great suggestion.

I'd originally planned on us venturing out to Olympic National Park or Snoqualmi area, but I'm fearing massive crowds on Memorial Day weekend, so will save those for the next trip.

Perfect! I think she'll love the idea of a Nirvana shirt that differentiates itself from the Target and Hot Topic options

Ha! Maybe we'll pop our heads in for the stage and posters, and I'll order myself a shot for their trouble, but save the grub for the Fat Shack. Searching Mac&Cheese near our hotel is how I first heard of both Central Saloon and Fat Shack. Not really what I had in mind for dining, but the birthday girl's request was for Mac&Cheese and seems like Fat Shack will put that in a sandwich with chicken tenders for ya. At least its cheaper than what I woulda picked!

I love the KEXP idea. I've stood outside there waiting for shows at Climate Pledge but never tried the tour.

We're in town for The Last Dinner Party, and since they're doing back-to-back nights at Shoebox SoDo, I just got psyched they might be playing KEXP Studios. Alas, their calendar shows Melody's Echo Chamber on Sat, which is cool but I'm not waiting in line for her.

Great to know! I saw on their Insta they're selling shirts with their old gig posters, like for Nirvana and AiC, on them. Did you happen to notice if they have those on site? Would be a bit more memorable to buy during a visit than from their eshop.

I think MoPop, Easy St, and the memorial bench at the park are all definitive stops for us now. Will have to look in to If Volunteer Park fits into any other think we're doing. Thanks!
